2Tango Dazzle was initiated in 2014 by young excited minds that have a zeal for entertaining and enriching the world through theatre. It seeks to produce plays, events and educational programs of the highest standard that consistently inspires and challenges. We celebrate and explore the traditional role of theatre as a place for any discussion of great ideas, and presenting them to the world. With that philosophy in mind, Dazzles’s vision of nurturing a theatre going society is put into action every day as we continuously strive to innovate theatre programs and productions, around the country and around the world; as we strive to partner with other organisations and other art form practitioners to explore the edges of theatre practice. We continue to inspire theatre appreciation and participation not only in theatres but schools, community centres - wherever people get together.
2Tango Dazzle Ltd was registered in 2014 as a Non Profit Organisation.
2Tango Dazzle is aimed at developing original Singaporean works and exploring established scripts in an innovative way. Dazzle serves as a platform for budding theatre enthusiasts and theatre practitioners to explore performance making. Dazzle aspires to stage unique and dynamic performances that challenge both the artists and audience. Audience will realise the transforming power of the arts through our productions. We believe that our quality of life is richly influenced by opportunities to get out and come together in public places to enjoy art, and to participate in these activities to the fullest.
2Tango Dazzle is dedicated to taking artistic risks by creating works which employ the theatre as a universal language of art, and achieving a theatrical expression that overcomes limitations of language, customs and theatrical conventions. Dazzle is a company with vision of realistic goals where the team tirelessly works to enhance theatre presentations to create vibrant theatre community. We are constantly looking out for collaborations with partners to expose the local audiences to theatre that is highly entertaining and engaging. With an eclectic array of ideas and initiatives, 2Tango Dazzle is here to innovate.
