We believe in giving young people the opportunity to experience exceptional theatre, and we hope this will inspire a passion that will last a lifetime. As such we felt the experience should not just end with watching a performance.

 

The Learning Beetle, is a holistic arts education program, which enriches young people through access to learning programs that are extensions to watching the productions.  Young people actively participate in creative and imaginative art-making in response to the performance they have just experienced. Thus elements of our program are infused into engaging learning activities for each production. These provide multiple entry points into the creative world of performance for children and families, students and teachers.

 

The activities relate directly to the themes and ideas of the production, exploring dance, music, visual art and dramatic play and are structured to include all ages across generations. Materials are given to teachers and families upon request.
